Andrew Farkas is a writer who was born in Akron, Ohio. He currently lives in Chicago, Illinois, USA where he helps run a letters racket on the Near West Side and is the Fiction Editor of ''Packing Town Review''. He holds an M.F.A. from the University of Alabama and earned a master’s degree in English as part of the Creative Writing Program at the University of Tennessee. Farkas is getting a doctorate at the University of Illinois at Chicago.〔(Story in ''Tennessee Today'' )〕 He is currently working on a novel called ''Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been? '' set in the 21st century and the main character is being tracked by the Gestapo.〔(Curbside Splendor Interview )〕 ==Past Work== Andrew Farkas is the author of a collection of short fictions, ''Self-Titled Debut'', for which he won the 2008 Subito Press Prize for Experimental Fiction.〔http://tnjn.com/2010/sep/15/alumni-writers-inspire-creativ/〕 The stories featured in ''Self-Titled Debut'' are all from the same time period.
